RE: Getting the trailer inspected
Here in Upstate NY, I think I paid about $12 (give or take a few, I really don't remember) for the inspection. They check the same things that gibson2403 listed.
I don't know how much the fine would be for not having a current sticker, but I figure it's gotta be more $$$ than the inspection. Having the inspection also give me a little peace of mind.
RE: Drinking, Driving, and DUI
Sorry symbasden, but zero tolerance should start before the first DUI, not after it. It only takes one time to kill someone. Only idiots drive drunk - there is no excuse for this onee...
RE: Future to TC with high fuel cost?
Rising fuel costs are one reason we are moving from a TT to a TC. Maybe not much savings, but when we want to bring the boat camping, at least it won't take two vehicles to get us there anymore.
I'll miss the space of the TT, but I won't miss the yearly registration and inspection, having to be careful about which gas stations, McDonald's parking lots I can fit into, etc. And it will open up more options for places to camp.

RE: Shadow Cruiser 862 ?
Wow, thanks the the quick replys! I'll go see it tomorrow or Tuesday (dealer is closed today - go figure). As far as the sewer hose storage issue, I'll figure something out if everything else works out for us.
Thanks again for all the information, I really do appreciate it.

Shadow Cruiser 862 ?
Hi Folks,
My wife and I are considering moving from the TT in my signature to a truck camper. I've found this one online but I'm hoping someone here can give me some more info on it... like an approximate weight? Will it fit on my short bed truck? I can't find much information about it online (seems they're not making them anymore) and I'm hoping to get more info on it before I drive the hour to go see it in person.
Thanks,
Mike
